Jiu Jitsu for Pataskala and Etna families
There's no jiu jitsu gym in Pataskala or Etna yet. The closest 10th Planet academy is about 25 minutes east in Heath, coached by Jon Borrows, the only Eddie Bravo black belt in Ohio. Month to month, beginners welcome, and your first class is free.
Why families make the drive
Coach Jon was promoted by Eddie Bravo himself in 2022, the only one Eddie has awarded in Ohio. He teaches every kids class and is on the mat with the adults every week.
Month to month at $125. Stop any time. No 12-month agreement to sign before you know if it fits your family.
Open since 2015. Read what local parents and members say on Google before you ever walk in.

Questions from Pataskala parents
Is it worth a 25 minute drive?
That's for you to decide after a class, and the first one is free. What you get for the drive: a black belt teaching every kids class, small age groups, and a gym that's been here since 2015.
Do you have kids classes after school?
Yes. Tuesday and Thursday at 5:00 PM for ages 6-8 and 5:45 PM for ages 9-14. Little Ninjas (age 5) is at 4:30 PM and has a waitlist.
Do we need any experience or gear?
No. Wear athletic clothes with no zippers. Kids are paired with an experienced teammate and the first class is built for beginners.
Is there a contract?
No. Memberships are month to month. There's also a yearly option if you'd rather pay once.
Will you ever have a class in Pataskala?
If enough families out here want one, we'll look at it. Call or text (740) 520-0112 and tell us you're interested.
