Head coach - Jon Borrows
Black belt under the legendary Eddie Bravo. Jon has nearly 20 years experience in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He placed 3rd at Nogi worlds in 2021 at brown belt, as well as numerous other competitive achievements. What sets him apart is his ability to transfer his knowledge to his students.
Nick Radcliff- assistant coach
10th Planet Newark purple belt. Nick has nearly 10 years experience, and is a true student of the game. He is constantly focused on ways to not only improve himself, but the entire team at 10th planet Jiu Jitsu Newark
Joe Winkel - Assistant coach
Joe is a 10th Planet Newark purple belt and, is a dedicated member of 10th Planet Newark. He has been a part of the team since the first year the gym was opened, and now teaches our 5:30am classes. Joe is someone who is constantly studying, and finding ways to help the team improve.
Ashten Hursey - assistant kids coach
Ashten began training at 10th planet Newark at 12 years old in our kids program. Now his role has flipped and he helps kids develop in the same program he started in.
Donnie Beck - Assistant coach
Donnie Is a 10th planet Newark Brown belt, and has over 10 years experience, and has been a part of the 10th Planet Newark team since the beginning.
